Website design for Carol Richmond, 11+ Tutor
This website was commissioned to promote Carol Richmond, a private tutor offering 11+ lessons in Skipton & surrounding areas.
The website was somewhat of a challenge, I was provided with text content & a single colour to work with, but no images. Designing websites without imagery & using colour blocks for layout is becoming increasingly popular as in many cases pictures are just added to websites to break up text content, but serve no other useful purpose.
The completed website, designed in WordPress looks clean & vibrant, An additional advantage of no imagery is that web pages are delivered much faster, helping with Google PageSpeed, as Google uses website speed as a marker for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
